Donald
J. Trump, president and chairman of The Trump Organization, along
with Ivanka Trump and Eric Trump, executive vice presidents of
development and acquisitions, unveiled the Gary Player Villa
at Trump National Doral® Miami, one of the newest additions
to the TRUMP HOTEL COLLECTION™.
On January 23,
2014 special guest Gary Player, one of the greatest players in
the history of golf, joined the Trump family to celebrate the
inauguration of his namesake villa. The Gary Player Villa is
one of eight new deluxe guestroom villas designed by Ivanka Trump
and world-renowned architects WATG as part of the $250 million
renovation currently underway at the iconic property. Historically,
Doral has been regarded as one of the most exceptional golf resorts
in the world and the completion of the Gary Player Villa signifies
the Trump family’s continued commitment to restoring and
surpassing that reputation while honoring the great legends of
golf.
At the opening ceremony on 1/23/14, Mr. Trump presented Gary
Player with the ceremonial key to The Gary Player Villa at Trump
National Doral Miami.

to the brand new and truly amazing new golf courses, these changes
are representative of the resort’s dramatic transformation,”

This golf lodge was redesigned by Trump and rebuilt into the
Gary Player Villa below.

The new deluxe
guestroom villas are adorned in a chic palette of elegant neutrals
– including ivory, champagne and caramel – accentuated
with mahogany wood and gold leaf Spanish revival details. The
classic furnishings paired with its contemporary accents present
the ultimate in luxury interiors. The spacious bathrooms more
closely resemble in-room spas with frameless showers, rainfall
showerheads, marble flooring throughout, and imported stone countertops
and vanities.
The Gary Player Villa is
one of eight new deluxe guestroom villas available at Trump National
Doral Miami, including the Arnold Palmer Villa, the Ben Hogan
Villa, the Bobby Jones Villa, the Jack Nicklaus Villa, the Phil
Mickelson Villa, the Sam Snead Villa and last but not least,
the Tiger Woods Villa.
All
the new deluxe villa guestrooms and suites boast beautiful golf
course or garden views with expansive balconies or lanais. The
rich history of golf is celebrated throughout the villas with
a curated collection of museum quality framed photographs that
captures the namesake golf legends at iconic moments in their
illustrious careers.
The Gary Player
Villa was the first of eight deluxe guestroom villas to be completed
and each is named after one of the world’s most influential
golfers including Bobby Jones, Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer,
Sam Snead, Ben Hogan, Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson --- many
of which have competed on the resort’s famed Blue Monster
golf course.
This spacious guest room within the Gary Player Villa is adorned
with photographs of iconic moments from Gary Player’s career
in golf.

The spacious bathrooms within all eight of the deluxe guestroom
villas at Trump National Doral Miami more closely resemble in-room
spas with frameless showers, rainfall showerheads, marble flooring
throughout, and imported stone countertops and vanities.

As
part of the extensive renovation, Trump National Doral® Miami’s
five championship golf courses will all be enhanced. The most
impressive update being the complete redesign of the iconic Blue
Monster golf course, which has been host to the PGA TOUR for
over 50 years and is currently home of the World Golf Championships-
Cadillac Championship. The official grand opening celebration
of the Blue Monster took place on February 6th 2014.
Additionally,
all new restaurant and bar concepts were introduced to the property
in early 2014, including the critically acclaimed BLT Prime.
With three private dining rooms encompassing indoor seating and
an expansive veranda, BLT Prime is a vibrant space with seating
for nearly 350 guests to indulge in superb dining and spectacular
golf course views.
Other noteworthy
changes at Trump National Doral include a newly designed hotel
lobby; a completely remodeled swimming complex known as The Royal
Palm Pool, featuring a lush landscape and an expansive patio
design along with 22 lavish cabanas; over 100,000 square feet
of six elegant indoor and outdoor premier event venues; a brand-new,
spectacular clubhouse with an incredible new golf shop --- one
of the largest in the Country and added modern locker room facilities;
a celebrated 48,000 square foot resort spa with over 100 signature
spa treatments and services; and a fully redesigned state of
the art fitness center.
Additionally,
Trump National Doral now features a large new driving range and
practice facility which includes a state of the art LED lighting
system for nighttime practice --- the first of its kind in the
world!
